What to Expect

The Well meets at 11 a.m. on Sundays in the Fleming Auditorium on the University of Southern Mississippi, Gulf Coast Campus.

From Highway 90 or Railroad Street in Long Beach, turn onto Beach Park Place and follow the event signs to The Well.  The Fleming Auditorium (building number 8 on the map below) is in the center of the campus, right off Bear Pointe Drive. Enter the building through the main double doors facing the parking lot.  The auditorium is to the right of the lobby.  The Baby Well and the Well Jr. rooms are located to the left of the lobby.

The Well is a worship service in spirit and truth that is held in an auditorium on our local college campus. We worship God in an atmosphere that welcomes you to come as you are.  Dress is casual, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

You are welcome to sing along as the worship band leads or sit and listen to God speak.  There will always be a time of teaching.  On some Sundays, we celebrate Communion (also called the Lord’s Supper).  The Communion table is open to everyone who loves Jesus, wants to turn away from sin, and seeks to live in peace with one another.

A nursery called Baby Well is available for children from birth to 36 months.  After the opening praise and worship songs at the beginning of the service, children from age 3 through 2nd grade will then be invited to go to The Well Jr. to participate in worship designed especially for them.
If you come a few minutes early, we will have coffee and refreshments in the lobby as we gather together to greet one another.
